Workshops & Facilitation

Keith has vast international experience in both these areas. There are many occasions where, having given a keynote address, Keith is invited back to lead a workshop or facilitate discussion around the content of the presentation or assist with the strategic implementation of the content. Keith has been called on to facilitate mergers and broker difficult discussions at a senior executive level within organizations. Keith’s presence, awareness and wide experience make him highly suitable to engage at this level. In fulfilling this role, Keith has then often been requested to consult / coach individuals and teams as they navigate the way forward.

Conversations in Leadership: Exploring the Critical Concerns of Leaders

This series of strategic conversations emerged from the extensive international work Keith and Prof Nick Barker, Director of the the Asia Pacific Leadership Program (APLP) have done. As they taught and consulted on leadership matters in settings from China to the United States, Japan to South Africa, they noticed that leaders everywhere were encountering similar but unique challenges. Drawing on their rich global experience – APLP alone has over 20 Asia Pacific countries within every annual cohort – Keith and Nick have framed five strategic conversations around leadership. each conversation includes relevant frameworks, case studies, examples, resources, helpful metaphors and analogies. This series is ideal for strategic inputs over a series of Executive / Leadership meetings. “All too often the executive meetings I attend are 95% operationally driven and there is seldom opportunity in these meetings to ‘get on the balcony’ and engage is strategic conversation. This is one reason why our strategic efforts are not succeeding and leaders are struggling to keep pace with the rate of change. It also means that leaders are neglecting their own learning and this has massive implications for not only themselves but those they lead” - Keith Coats
